An online stock watchlist that works like a trader's
Lists with sections, live quotes, a real chart next to the list, alerts you set by clicking a price, and the company's stats and news one glance away. Synced to your phone.
What makes a watchlist useful
- Sections. Group a list the way you think: indices, core holdings, ideas, earnings this week. Fold what you're not looking at.
- The chart beside the list. Click a row, see the candles. Up and down arrows walk the list. One, two or four charts at once.
- Pre-market and after-hours. Extended-hours trades show on a second line under the regular price, with a sun or moon so you know which session it is.
- Alerts without a form. Hover a price on the chart, click ⊕, Add alert. Drag the line to move it. You get a notice in the app and a browser notification.
- Details under the list. Day and 52-week range, volume, market cap, P/E, next earnings, the profile and the latest news for the selected symbol.
- Import and export. Paste a list of tickers or a TradingView export; your lists save in the same format.
Compared with the free watchlists
Yahoo Finance and Google Finance give you unlimited lists and news but no chart you can work on and no alerts worth setting. Broker watchlists tie you to one broker. TradingView's free plan is one list of 30 symbols with ads. TickerLists is a paid tool at €5 a month, and that is the whole product: the watchlist and the chart, done well.
