The TradingView alternative for people who mostly use the watchlist
TradingView raised every paid plan by 17 to 20 percent in April 2026. If what you open it for is a watchlist, a clean chart and a few alerts, you can have exactly that for €5 a month.
What TickerLists does
- Watchlists with sections, drag-to-reorder, column sorting, quick-switch between lists, pre-market and after-hours quotes on a second line, company logos.
- Charts like TradingView's: candles or line, 1-minute to weekly, extended hours, VWAP with bands, scroll and zoom, draggable price axis, one to four charts per screen, saved layouts.
- Alerts and levels set by clicking a price on the chart: alerts (unlimited), entry, stop and target, each drawn as a line with the position's gain or loss on it.
- Symbol details under the list: day and 52-week ranges, volume, market cap, P/E, EPS, float, beta, next earnings date, the company profile and the latest news.
- Entry check and odds: a button that reads today's 1-minute chart and says whether now is a good time to buy, at what price, with a stop and a target, and a Monte Carlo of the stock's own moves for the odds of the target before the stop.
- Synced to every device, phone layout included.
What it doesn't do
No Pine Script, no strategy tester, no broker integration, no drawing tools beyond levels, no community ideas, one indicator (VWAP). If you need those, TradingView is the right tool and worth its price.

Other alternatives, honestly
- Koyfin (free, paid from $39): the best for fundamentals and research dashboards. Charts are secondary.
- Stock Rover (from $7.99): screening and portfolio analytics for long-term investors. Not a charting tool.
- Finviz (free, Elite $39.50): the best pure screener; charts and watchlists are basic.
- Webull, thinkorswim (free with an account): full platforms if you also want to trade there.
- Yahoo Finance (free): unlimited watchlists and news, no chart levels or alerts worth the name.
Moving over takes two minutes
- In TradingView, open the list menu and choose Export list. You get a small text file.
- In TickerLists, open the list menu, Import from TradingView, paste the file, Replace list.
- Repeat per list. Symbols you don't recognise are reported, the rest come through with their sections.
