Getting started

TickerLists is a watchlist with a real chart next to it. This page gets you from sign-up to a working list in a few minutes.

Sign in

Enter your email on the sign-in page and we email you a 6-digit code. There is no password unless you set one in Settings. The first code creates your account and starts the 7-day trial.

Your first list

The app opens on a starter list. To make it yours:

  1. Open the list menu (the list name at the top of the right column) and choose Rename.
  2. Press + to add symbols. Type a ticker or a company name; Enter adds it and the box stays open for the next one. Paste several separated by commas to add them at once.
  3. Or choose Import from TradingView and paste a list you exported there. Sections come through.

Symbols are Yahoo's spellings: AAPL, BTC-USD, ^GSPC, SAP.DE. TradingView spellings like NASDAQ:AAPL, BTCUSD or XETR:SAP are translated when you paste them.

Moving around

  • Click a row to put it on the chart. Up and Down arrows walk the list.
  • Start typing anywhere to search for a symbol without adding it.
  • The letter buttons under the list name switch lists; drag them to reorder.
  • On a phone, the list and the chart are separate screens; the arrows at the top step through the list.
