Watchlists
As many lists as you like, 200 symbols each.
Sections
A section is a header inside a list, like TradingView's. Open the list menu and choose Add section, then drag symbols under it, or add to it with the + on the header row. Click a header to fold it. A folded section stays folded on that device.
Sorting and order
Click a column header to sort by it, again to flip, a third time to go back to your own order. Dragging a row moves it and switches sorting off: the order is yours. A section header drags its whole section.
Lists
The list menu has New list, Rename, Duplicate, Archive and Delete. Archived lists are kept (and synced) but leave the quick-switch buttons; they sit under Archived in the menu until you restore them.
Ready-made lists
The list menu has ready-made lists you can add with one click: Starter, World indices, Futures, Crypto, US mega caps, ETFs, FX majors and Macro. Each becomes an ordinary list of your own, sections included, so rename it and change it as you like.
Links
The address bar always names what you are looking at, so copy it to share or bookmark:
/app/AAPLopens a symbol on the selected chart (TradingView spellings work too:/app/NASDAQ:AAPL)./app/layout/<id>opens one of your saved layouts, and/app/layout/<id>/AAPLopens it with that symbol on the selected chart.
Layouts and lists belong to your account, so a layout link only works for you; symbol links work for anyone with an account.
Import
Import from TradingView accepts three things:
- TradingView's exported
.txtfile (NASDAQ:ASTS,NYSE:BE,###SECTION,…), sections included. - A plain list of tickers separated by commas, spaces or new lines.
- The TradingView watchlist copied from the page.
Replace list makes the pasted symbols the whole list in the pasted order. Add to list appends the ones you don't have. Symbols Yahoo doesn't know are reported, and a few other spellings are tried first (BTCUSD as BTC-USD, Euronext listings in Paris, Brussels, Lisbon and Dublin).
Quotes
Rows refresh every 15 seconds while the page is open. During pre-market and after-hours a second line shows that session's price and change, with a sun (pre-market) or moon (after hours).
The details panel
Under the list: name, exchange, sector, price with the extended-hours trade, the day and 52-week ranges, key stats, the latest news and the company profile for the symbol on the chart. Drag the divider above it to resize; double-click to reset. A symbol you looked up but don't have in the list gets an Add button here.
